Privacy Policy

UtiloKit ("we", "us", or "our") is a free collection of online tools. Privacy is built into how the product works: nearly every tool runs entirely inside your browser, so the text, code, and files you work with stay on your device. This policy explains what we do — and, just as importantly, what we don't do — with your information.

The short version

You don't need an account to use UtiloKit. We don't ask for your name, email, or any personal details to let you use the tools, and the content you paste or upload into a tool is processed locally and is never sent to our servers.

Information you put into the tools

When you use a tool — formatting JSON, rewriting a paragraph, generating a QR code, compressing an image, and so on — that work happens client-side, in your browser. The content stays in your device's memory for the length of your session and is discarded when you close or reload the tab. We do not receive, log, or store it.

Preferences stored on your device

UtiloKit remembers small preferences — such as your light/dark theme choice — using your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device, is not a tracking cookie, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic — for example, which pages are most visited and which countries visitors come from — so we can improve the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to distinguish visits; it never captures the content you enter into a tool. You can learn how Google processes this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

UtiloKit is free to use and may show advertising served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense to cover its costs. Ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads and, where you have consented, to personalise them based on prior visits to this and other websites. We never give advertisers the content you enter into a tool. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com or opt out of third-party ad cookies at aboutads.info/choices. Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent before any advertising cookies are set.

Cookies

UtiloKit itself sets no tracking cookies. Cookies on this site come from the services above: Google Analytics (traffic measurement) and, where shown, advertising partners (ad delivery and, with consent, personalisation). Your tool preferences use local storage, not cookies, and never leave your device. You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings; the tools keep working without them.

Third-party services

UtiloKit serves all web fonts from its own servers — no external font service is contacted when you load a page. Beyond the analytics and advertising services described in this policy, we do not share information with third parties, and we never sell your data.

Children's privacy

UtiloKit is a general-audience website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of UtiloKit after a change means you accept the revised policy.
